Chapter 2

“What did you do?!” Vortex screams at her, “Whats all that blood from? Wheres Warp!” She storms forward, nearly slapping Legion across the face.
“...Don't worry... Just... some muggers... Theres no evidence... I destroyed it all... I'm going to go take a shower.” She tries to move past Vortex, but her arm is grabbed.
“Did anyone see you? You should of ran, you shouldn't be drawing such attention to us. Also I heard you got in a fight today. What part of laying low didn't you understand. We're trying to not be found, not-”
“Ok, ok I get it! I won't fight, I won't kill anyone, now can I go take my shower already?!” She snaps angrily at her.
“Fine, fine... I'll go get Sanctuary... Figures you'd screw up on our very first day.” She snaps as she storms out of the house, slamming the door behind her.
“... I didn't... I just... Stupid old hag.” She growls, and storms through the house, unclothing and hopping in the shower, leaving her clothes scattered around the house. She turns the water onto near boiling temperature, letting the extreme heat cascade over her flesh, making her hands clench into fists, pushing into the wall. Her skin never turns red though, and when she shuts off the water, the room is covered in a thick steam. She moves over to the mirror, and runs her hands across it, to wipe the water off, so she could see in it. She examines herself, to make sure every drop of blood was gone, and then heads out of the bathroom, leaving a long trail of water where ever she walks. As she came to her room, white light seems to sprout from every inch of her body for a moment, as the water quickly evaporates. She heads into her room, and quickly dresses, switching on her t.v., flipping channels till she comes to a kids T.V. Show, giggling a bit as she watches the purple bear tell the blue llama about friend ship and love. Time seems to fast forward, as she hears Vortex come home, she quickly flips the channel to something more mature, an annoying soap opera.
Soon, her door creeks open, as Sanctuary comes into the room. “L-legion?”
“What Sanc?” She turns to her, switching the T.V. Off.
“...Vortex says we're going to have to leave because um... C-can you please not make us leave? I-I don't wanna go now... I-I wanna stay a bit longer... please?” Legions eyes narrow. Of course Vortex would do that. Send in the little tyke to guilt her into behaving... And damn it, it works.
“Fine, fine... Tell Vortex I'll behave. Anything else yah want?” She snaps, sounding annoyed.
“C-can I watch T.V. With you? Vortex is cooking dinner and doesn't want me bugging her...”
“Yeah, whatever...” she turns the T.V. Back on, flipping channels till Santuary tells her to stop, grinning as it comes to the show she'd been watching before...
She groans, slowly opening her eyes, looking at the window. The sun leaking in, creating a short of golden glow through the room. She looks down, noticing Sanctuarys gone, and looks to the alarm clock, 10 am? She lets out a curse word, why didn't her alarm go off, as she jumps to her feet, and runs out the door. Slamming straight into the barrel of a gun, as the windows to her room shatter as more men enter the room, each armed with a gun. Bullets begin to fly, riddeling her body wi-
She sits up, in a cold sweat, her alarm going off besides her, shaking. She looks down, seeing Sanctuary laying next to her, she quickly reaches down, pinching her side, and then shuts off the alarm clock. Only 6 am, she slowly shakes Sanctuary. “Up... Time to go to school.”
