Tri dawn chapter 1 by ~Maskinos:iconMaskinos:

Chapter 1

“A all boy school?!!” Legion shrieks, “You can't be serious!”
“Legion, calm down. Its for the best. Your body was never completed, so you lack certain aspects of the female body, if we put you in as a girl, there would be to many questions, and you'd draw to much attention to yourself. The chances of them finding you there are also very low, since they'll be expecting you in a co-ed or a girls school.” Vortex says. She's currently wearing a brown, long shirt, with a white sweater, small, circular glasses, and small heeled shoes.
“How come Sanctuary gets to go to a co-ed school though... She's still young, she'd probably be able to fit as a boy too!” Legion says, she's currently wearing blue pants, black shoes, and a blue sweater with the logo for Scholo's school for boys on the front, left breast pocket. Basically, Two S's surrounding a B. She lacks all visibly bust, and her hair is cut short, and brown.
“Since it was enough trouble getting you in one. This school has very little magic training classes as well, so the amount of sorcerers you'll meet should be minimal. So if your careful, you should be able to avoid detection...”
“This is so unfair.” she snaps. “I go through all the trouble of busting you two out in the first place, and this is how you repay me?”
“Enough. We're here. Just blend in.” Vortex says as the door opens, and she shoves her out of the car. “Remember to pick Sanctuary up on the way home... Ted.” She smiles, as the door slams shut in Legions face, and the car drives off.
“I hate her so much...” Legion says as she stands up. “What kind of name is Ted...” She mutters, as she turns to look at the school. The school is made of many different buildings, each one going three or four stories high, with names on each one. Outside the buildings, there are swarms of teenage boys, all talking, hanging out, wearing uniforms exactly like hers... “I hate this already...” She tries to get one of the kids attention, trying to figure out where her first class is, but most the kids ignore her. She finally finds a small group of kids, three large ones, tossing a book bag over the head of another one. The other kid was about 5 foot even, long brown hair, and green eyes. His uniform seemed to be a little to big for him, and on his left hand he wears a brown glove, with a small, red gem in the center of the palm. Her eyes narrowed, he was a sorcerer... Granted, he was getting shoved around by three brutes, so he must not of been very good, but he was one none the less. Suddenly he gets tripped, landing hard on the cement ground.
She watches the bag go flying through the air, as the three bullies laugh at the kid, and moves up behind the closest one. As the bag moves towards him, she puts her hand on his shoulder, and sends him flying to the side, her right hand reaching out, and catching the bag.
“Ahh!” The bully says as he slams into the cement, rolling a bit. The other two stare for a moment, before rushing at her. She flings her right hand up, the bag going into the air. She ducks down, doing a sweep kick as the two come at her, knocking them off their feet. She's on her feet in a instant as the two are still falling, her right leg kicking out twice, catching one in the side, the other in the stomach. She looks to her right, as the first bully gets up, and runs at her. As he punches her,  she grabs his hand with her left, and her right hand slams out, crashing into his face, and she feels his nose break under it. She then holds her left hand out to catch the bag, but it lands on her head, and clatters to the ground... “Ow.”
She bends down to pick up the bag, and hands it over to the boy, not quite noticing the silence that now surrounds them. “Uhhh... T-thanks...” The boy says slowly.
“No problem... Do you know where the principles office is?”
“Yeah, I'll show you!” He says, quickly taking Legion's hand, and running off, as the three begin to get up, clutching themselves where they were hit. He leads her into one of the buildings on the right. “Why did you do that? Their going to come after you now, and your going to get in a lot of trouble now!”
She shrugs, “I don't care... Theres only three of them... Why didn't you just cast a spell on them?” The boy visibly cringes.
“I'm not any good at spells... I can only do a few basics, and I'm only really good at transformation spells...”
“Then why not use those?”
“It would of taken to long to cast, they would of just beaten me up if I tried.”
“And thats worse than what was happening?” She says, shaking her head.
“They'd of given it to me eventually.” He says as he looks down.
“Thats... Pretty pathetic.”
“We're here.” He says quickly, motioning to a door. “Have fun.” And then, he darts off.
She opens the door, and heads inside. “Ummm...” She looks to the only person in the room. A woman, middle aged, long red hair, and her face was covered in creases, she seemed like a worried. The majority of her body was hidden behind stacks of books. “Hello? My names Ted, I'm supposed to get my um... Stuff... From you I think...” He says softly. The woman jerks, looking up, “Huh? Oh, Ted, yes, I was expecting you, there.” She points to the other side of the room, a small, blue book bag on the ground, “Your class schedule and everything is in there. Just go.” She tells her.
“But where are my-”
“GET OUT!” She yells at her, and she quickly leaves the room.
“This place is so hostile...” She mutters as she tries to find the first building. “Okay, Hoffman...” She moves through the building, as the bell goes off. Within moments, the hallways are deserted, as is the outside... “Great.” She mutters, “I hate this place...”
She heads down the locker filled room, staring down at the ground. Its made of cheap tiles, and she can see small dents, and scuffs all over the ground... She begins to hear a soft banging, as she goes down the hall way. She turns a corner and hears it getting louder... “Hello?” She calls out... but no one responds.
She keeps going, and when she turns a corner, she sees one of the lockers vibrating... The banging coming from it... “Ummm... Hello?” She says as she moves over to it. “Who's there? Can you let me out?” The locker says.
“Out...side?”
“No! Out of the locker! Who's out there? Oh crap...” And then she recognizes the voice. The boy who darted off earlier... She sighs, and grips the padlock, crushing it in her hand, and opens the door. “There.”
He looks down at the now shattered lock, eyes wide, “What kind of spell was that?”
“Huh? Oh... Right, um, just a normal... decomposing... breaking... Do you know where my classes are?” She thrusts the paper in his face.
“Oh? Thats over in the Hoffman building, its there.” He points out through a window. “Though classes started a bit ago, your gonna be la-” and in a flash she's gone. He blinks, and looks left and right, “Wow... He can teleport? He must be a pretty good sorcerer.” Before running off, “I'm late too now! Not again!”
Legion appears outside the building, before heading inside. She looks down the corridors, “Room 107...” she says to herself, as she heads down the hall. The rest of her day following that, remains uneventful, no more fights, and she even manages to get her teachers to tell her where the next classes are.
As she leaves the school, she looks up at the bright sky, “I wonder why they let you out so early...” She says, looking to a clock. Four O'clock. She heads towards the front of the school, caught in a small swarm of kids discussing their classes, text books, the group slowly getting smaller, as the kids leave to go down their own path. She slides her hands in her pockets, feeling a slight chill, looking left and right, no one is out, not even cars, and she finally realizes what it is. She's lost. She looks down as she tries to remember what path she took to get here, “Okay, I go right, or was it left from the school... Wait, how do I-” She never even notices till the glass bottle hits her in the back of the head, shattering. She drops down, laying on her stomach, as the second blow, a kick, hits her in her mid section. Finally, another kick across her head, knocks her out cold.
The three men from before, stand over her, one of them now with a slightly bandaged nose. He kicks her in the stomach again, knocking her into the narrow alley way in between some of the buildings. The three then begin to kick her, and as the one with the bandaged nose tries to drive his foot into her face, suddenly her hand reaches up, catching the foot. “Threat: Verified. Targets: Three. Solution: Elimination.” She suddenly disappears, reappearing in a blink behind the one with the nose, and drives her hand through the back, center of his chest, and out the other side.
Her eyes glow yellow, as they turn to the other two. The two stare in shock, as she pulls her bloody hand, out of his chest. Once again she disappears, appearing in front of the closer of the two. Her bloody right hand goes up, catching and gripping him under the chin, picking him up, slightly into the air, before slamming his head into the ground, crushing the skull. She then looks up at the final one, as a small blade forms in her bloody hand. “Please... I-I'm sorry, don't kill me, we were just playing, it got out of control, please, I-” And then he is silenced, as the knife drives up through the bottom of his skull, all the way through to the top of his skull.
